Guest Post – Best Selling Author Dianne Gardner!

Dianne Gardner 1-me painting2

Dianne Lynn Gardner is a wonderful artist as well as being a best selling author!

Hi everyone!

Welcome! We are highlighting a very talented lady today, Dianne Gardner.  Her latest book, Altered, is now available on Amazon!  We’ve read it and it is amazing.  This is one book you will not be able to put down.

Real quick!  Dianne is having a launch party on Facebook for this latest book.  It is today, at 4:00 pm (PT) and here’s the link:

Altered Launch Party Facebook Event ~

Here’s a little about Dianne:

The Pacific Northwest is my home. After living in the dry desert of Arizona for over 23 years, I was tired of always praying for rain, so I decided to come and get it on my own. Gray skies and deep forests give way to the most glorious summers you could ever imagine. Not to mention the abundance of berries, clams, oysters, salmon, fruits of all kinds, to me the Puget Sound area of Washington is the richest place in the world.

I have seven children, all grown. Sixteen grandchildren that need stories written, and so they are my inspiration.

People always find it fascinating that I lived in a mud house for over 13 years, hauling water from the well in a bucket, cooking on a wood stove, planting blue corn in desert washes, and generally living out of the box. Some of these experiences are tapped into my novels.

My website is You’ll find books, audios, artwork and how our movie production is coming along on that site.

Amazon link to purchase Altered ~

Altered is a story about a family very much like those I see today. A single working mom is trying to raise two kids. The difference between today’s world, and the Altered environment is that the mother has to struggle to keep her family together during a world-military takeover that has already put into place a plan to manipulate its subjects through the food supply.

There are two things that drove this story into being.

  1. Current events concerning the manipulation of our American farms and ultimately our food supply.

  1. My experience living in the Southwest desert and learning and understanding not only Hopi legend, but the simple Native American way of life which is harmonious to nature.

Nature will always be a part of my novels. In my first series The Ian’s Realm Saga, Ian steps through a portal to a place called the Realm, where the country is absolutely beautiful, pristine, and wild. Mountains, prairies, ocean and woods…These are all landscapes that I have experienced and love dearly.

In Altered, a dystopian novel, this struggling family is watching what was once a beautiful world deteriorate before their eyes where everything natural is disappearing and with it, the future of mankind.

I hate to think negatively about the future. I have sixteen grandchildren and I would hope that the world we leave them would be a better place. It’s my will that we leave future generations an environment more like the Realm, clean and rich and wild, rather than like the broken shell we see in my novel Altered.

If this book can make a difference, even in one person’s life, then I will be content that it’s done its job!

Dianne Gardner, an award winning author, is also an illustrator living in the Pacific Northwest, USA. She’s an active member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, and the National League of American Pen Women. Her Ian’s Realm series is published by PDMI Publishing LLC along with four short stories in the A Tale of the Four Wizards series. Her most recent book Altered will be published this year by Master Koda Publishing. She writes for middle grade and young adults targeting boys and adventure loving girls, and the young at heart.

Just a few of the many testimonials on her behalf:

Testimonial from Marni Spencer Devlin on the work Rebbekah White did for her  author website –

Bekah makes it possible – it’s as simple as that. Before Bekah I had all these ideas about how to grow my business but no way to apply them. I kissed a lot of frogs before I found my Bekah.

Now I just dream it up and sometimes seconds later I can view it on my site. She knows everything about everything, and there’s something she doesn’t know immediately she learns it and can apply it be the next day.

She is the most responsive VA I have ever worked with. Even if she is buried under other work she responds immediately and lets me know why she cannot do it right now and when she can do it. Then she completes it ahead of her own schedule.

I often ask myself – is this heaven? No – it’s Bekah!

Testimonial from John Emil Augustine:

Rebbekah has created two incredibly unique and eye-catching book covers for me, and I couldn’t be happier. The first thing I pray for as an author is that my book’s cover will catch my target audience’s eye, and thanks to Rebbekah, my prayer has been answered and more. I get many, many compliments on both my covers. Not only that, she truly is a joy to work with: a good listener, smart, and adaptable with a strong sense of what artwork will “pop.” I wouldn’t go to anyone else for my next book. ~John Emil Augustine

Latest 5 Star Review of Fateful Night!

Hi everyone!

We just wanted to share our latest five star review with you! Thank you Sherri Molteni for taking the time to write this great review.

***Jammed Packed with Adventures, Foibles and Fantastical Sub-plots***

April 11, 2014
By S.A. Molteni – Author

This review is from: Fateful Night: What She Knew Book 1 (What She Knew Trilogy) (Kindle Edition)

“Fateful Night: What She Knew Book 1” by T.L. Burns and K.R. Hughes brings a new and fresh insight to many of the ‘what-if scenarios surrounding the death of JFK and of Marilyn Monroe.

It is jammed-packed with adventures, foibles and fantastical sub plots, leaving the reader feeling as though they have been on a roller-coaster ride through the 248 pages of this alternative history, fictional novel.

The cast of characters includes Frank Sinatra, Peter Lawford and the entire Kennedy clan. No one is left out of the conspiracy theories that run rampant in this book.

There are so many things that are great about this novel, one being that it was wonderfully written and another being that it really makes you think about what actually happened back in the 1950’s and 1960’s through the Camelot years of the Kennedy family.

A very good read that will keep you guessing. I am looking forward to the next book in the series.

S.A. Molteni

Thank you again for such a terrific review!! Book one and two are available on Amazon, book three out this fall.

Please Welcome Author S.E. Meyers!

Steph Myers Profile picture

S.E. Meyer

Hi everyone!

We are excited to have S.E. Meyers (Stephanie) here with us today!  Her book, Dark Revelation, is a wonderful read.  Here’s a bit about her.

Author Bio:

I am an author. It’s what I do. It’s what I want to do. It’s not the only thing that I do, but, it’s what I want to be when I grow up.

Stephanie was born in San Antonio, Texas and spent most of her youth in Germany. She joined the military and traveled the world…somewhat. She lived in Japan, spent time in India, and currently resides in Sacramento, California.

She is surrounded by her close friends, family, and animals. She lives with her oldest daughter (Illeana), youngest daughter (Kathryn), Punky & Snoopy (their Chorky’s), and their cat (Miss Kitty). She misses her son, Gavin, terribly. He currently lives in Georgia.

Stephanie has written for many years. She started writing songs at the age of ten. Her writing progressed into short stories, poetry, screenplays, and more recently, her novel Dark Revelation.

While Dark Revelation is of the YA genre, her other WIP’s (Works in Progress) are more adult in nature – and no – not that kind of adult.

Stick around, read her blog, follow her on twitter and most of all — read her books!

She is currently working on the second book in the Dark Revelation series.

Let’s take a look at one of the many great reviews Stephanie has received:

Spell binding

A. E. Drury “Ed Drury”

This book had me hooked in the first chapter, wondering just what was so special about Ryleigh. As it turned out there was no way on earth I could have guessed how complicated things were for her. As her story unfolds, surprising twists and turns take the reader through a maze of exciting discoveries about the secret world of Ryleigh’s family. Both the good side and the bad side of the family. The details of Ryleigh’s powers and how she learns to control them were vividly described. Plenty of suspense and some very original characters make this a fun book to read. I was especially taken with the author’s take on the Fae , family histories, and magical energies of these characters. It’s vastly different, and I think more compelling, than much of the paranormal thrillers I have read before. I look forward to the next book in this series. I was thoroughly entertained by this one. The story is fast paced, original and suspenseful. I don’t often read this genre, but after reading this I may sample more.

Here are a couple of short reviews:

Ashley: I loved this book. I love how it was written and the entire story. I could hardly put it down.

Struwberry13: This is really good,I love it! It is such a good book I am looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

The Case Against The Single Bullet Theory

JFK limo

Hi all!

The burning question still remains, even after 50 years, “Was President John F. Kennedy shot before the governor of Texas, John B. Connally?” and “Was there a magic bullet or Single Bullet Theory (SBT) as it is now known?” Roy L. Schaeffer certainly thinks that Connally was shot first and that there were more than three shots fires. He presents a very convincing argument for both of these.  Check out the following article for yourslef and then you decide.

Emerging consensus that LBJ killed JFK?

Darkest Day – On Sale Now

LBJ killed JFK. Truth or fiction?  You decide. In the following article, it’s very hard for anyone to argue with Jeff Lukens and his position that LBJ was behind the JFK assassination.  We agree.  After reading the following article, check out book two of the What She Knew trilogy, Darkest Day.  The book opens on the scene of that tragic day over 50 years ago now.
